There are also many privately funded organizations that also provide a number of grants and scholarships to minorities. Now while there are many minority grants on the government level, the qualification standards are much higher, and only those meeting certain requirements usually qualify. Certain businesses, fields of work or research can qualify, but the average Jose, will have a big more difficulty.
